These days it's probably something in the medical area. All the baby boomers are getting older and will need medical care.

I agree with something in the medical field or a business degree. There are so many options in the medical field and such a demand for them right now. Obviously doctors make a lot of money, but even nurses are in huge demand and many are offered considerable sign on bonuses.

Business degrees are a no brainer, you can use them in ANY company. If you don't know what you specifically want to do then start off taking your required courses like English, Math, Science etc. Dabble in other classes until you find something you are passionate about. Many people don't know what they want to major in for the first few years.

Engineering is huge and will be chemical, computer, electrical they are all aways on the top list of jobs needed.

You really need to ask yourself what job you enjoy so much that you would do it for free... and then find a way to get paid for it.
