I am wanting to open an ecommerce store.

I have looked at some basis stores online and wanted your votes on which ones look good and you would actually shop at.

1. www.homeStock.biz
2. www.xpcgear.com
3. www.midwayautosupply.com
4. www.blueessentials.com

All of them look great , excelent products and I would shop at. Midway and Blue Essentials are much more professional and my number one is Blue Essentials.

None of these are really great in terms of design, homeStock & blueEssentials probably looks the most professional of the lot. xpcGear seems good in terms of variety. Yet depending on what I need I'll still shop from all of these.

Maybe a better idea would be to compare stores that sell the same thing. For instance comparing 5 PC stores, and scoring these against different criteria, i.e. design, product choice, navigation, usability & recommendations (intellegent suggestions based on user interaction) may be of more value.

I find http://www.barnesandnoble.com to be a pleasant shopping experience, it could be a good site to use as a reference.
