Because there exists a bias in this country that really began in the late 80s. It's a combination of the right-wings use of Think tanks to push the public discussion towards the conservative end of the spectrum and the foundation of Rupert Murdock's media empire, which he himself admits exists only to force America into a more conservative path. Fox and Co will never attack Bush even if he is terrible wrong, just like they will attack Clinton even when he was absolutely right. For more information I recommend you watch a movie called, "Outfoxed", which last I checked as available via Google Video (video.google.com).

Though they never found the actual guy they did nearly ruin that one guys career, and probably shook up who ever was doing it enough to stop. If I remember correctly they found his apparatus down near Fort Detrick in MD in a lake its quite ingenius how he did it.

O and just to point out I'm not a conservative just pointing out some facts.

The only failures that conservatives and their media see with W are bans on abortion or gay marriage.

None of the tragic failures domestically or internationally even get a nod.
