Oh, god...I have thought about this many, many times. Even better, what might also work....sueing your spouse for false advertisement. They seem so wonderful in the begining, and then they always change. So, it's like false advertisement. If I am going to sue my spouse for false advertisement, I want half of said party's paycheck for life...hahahaha.

I agree with redbird....there are no guarantees in marriage. People are people, we're human, and living with someone day in and day out isn't easy. Think of your family, like your mom or your siblings. That wasn't easy either, but you can't trade them in. Just because you weren't born married to your husband doesn't mean you can just trade him in when he isn't what you want. My husband can be very emotionally distant, he doesn't have the same emotional needs that I do, so there are a lot of times I feel really lonely. But that doesn't mean he doesn't love me or that I want to trade him in for someone else. My therapist told me once that more than likely the problems would still follow you even if you did get a different partner. So why not try to compromise and make it work with THIS one. AFter all...you married him for a reason. I remember that reason--because I loved him. Period.

Mine has been satisfying for almost 29 years! There is no replacement for him, he's a real keeper! However, spouses don't come with guarantees, marriage comes with a 'better or worse' vow and not something to be taken lightly.

But what does that mean?? Does he mean if he's not happy with you, you can just up and leave the marriage and leave with another man. But never get divorced? Pointless. Let that go. He must have a reason why he is saying that. And it's probably not good....

Mine would have been sent back a long time ago. I do love my husband and believe in my vows of richer or poor sickness and health til death but what he has put me through over the last 14 years no one should go through.

Seeing as how things tend to get worse for me I would have to keep him and just HOPE for the best.
