I'm entering into 8th grade and my style is usually cute/feminine/elegant/50's/80's (leg warmers)/modestly sexy. I'm in the country, so it doesn't have to be MAJOR, but still... just say all of your ideas! Oh, and I'm an all-around dark chocolate girl (except for my skin; medium chocolate) 5"1 and verrryyy slim if it helps! Thank you! :)

I love the magazine Teen Vogue. You should check it out and style your closet after what the girls in that book wear (not necessarily the brands, just the styles). When you are at your age, your style will switch around a lot. I think if you want to wear what's 'hot', just look at the magazine and pick out what styles you like and which you think matches your personality.
What I personally recommend is skinny jeans. They're definitely in now if you want to wear those and pair them with your leg warmers once it gets cold. Since you are still young, you can wear them with screen tee's and dangle some big beaded necklaces for a casual look with a feminine touch. If you're looking for elegant, try wearing a flowy tunic. Since you are skinny, it will look fine. As far as hair, anything is fine really. Metallic eyemakeup is super cute. If you have the money to afford MAC eye make up, they will take you a loooong way.
Have fun in school and look your best!

I am really into the 80's style now too. I would recommend picking up a pair of straight leg jeans and maybe wearing a more flow-y feminine shirt in a neutral color, and maybe pairing a destressed jacket over it ro even wearing a rocker tee would be cute. Dress it up with a pair of fun bright wedge heels, (which are very in right now and go great with straight leg jeans.) I love longer tops with lace on them and a pair of jeans tucked into a pair of boots, (not cowboy or UGGS) just a cute pair of brown leather boots. For jewelry I would wear several longer necklaces with a fun pendant on them. I would wear several beaded bracelets or bangles and maybe a chunkier one too. For earrings I would not wear hoops or really long dangly ones. I love a simple pearl, but for the 80's look, maybe a fun pair of small dangly earrings. Hope my advice helps.

The new line Candie's at Kohls has a bunch of cute 80s things, like vintage shirts, reddish distressed mini skirts, chunky pumps, and stuff like that. Another plus is that they're stuff isn't very expensive.

this should be easy since I have your EXACT SAME STYLE.I think you should wear a jean skirt with black leg warmers, and a graphic screened tee, like rolling stones or ac/dc,or whatever fave band you like.Hoop earrings would be cute, with some blue eye shadow.Good luck girl and have fun!

make-up this year is all about bright colors but true to your eye color. dress form fitting, and body shape fitting. go with a skirt and forget the leggings, with a cute vintage shirt. add tons of jewelry, it is all about the accessories.
