I was normal too...Guys didn't notice me until I was a freshman in High School...It was worth the wait though because they came out of everywhere wanting me to go out...go to dances etc. It was worth the wait. I think I appreciated more too by waiting so long. Hang in there...it will come. It is like guys aren't grown up enough to notice the good stuff. :)

14-15 lost it on my (not so) sweet 16th.
Most kids gage themselves by what they see around them and that is not the way to do it. My son says that all the kids in school are not ALL paired up yet, but only a few are. What you want for yourself does call attention to what you notice in your surroundings. Girls mature faster than boys too so... Good luck!
My husband still acts like a 12 year old! LOL
Just be yourself sweetie and don't rush anything just for the sake of doing it. When it is right you'll know it. The heck with everyone else! Be your own person, always!

Hey don't rush it! I'm a bit like you, my parents didn't really want me to have a boyfriend until I was 16 so I had happy little crushes until then. A few months after I turned 16 I met the sweetest guy, whom I have been dating for the past 3 years. It's hard, having to wait, but it is worth it. So yeah your perfectly normal.

Well I had my first "boyfriend" in 2nd grade...hahahaha,except HE wasn't aware of it. Anyway, my first real boyfriend was when I got to high school. There's nothing wrong with you. Don't rush it. The right guy will come along when it's meant to be. Don't settle for anyone who doesn't deserve you just to say that you have a boyfriend either. Wait until a nice guy comes along.

I was 12. He was way older. Looking back on the beginning of that relationship I know now that a lot of stress and heart break could have been prevented by simply staying away from the older guy like everyone wanted. He died three years later. It hurt. A lot. First love hurts....

You're normal! Stop beating yourself up! It will happen sooner than you'll realize. Also I bet you are a lot prettier than you are giving yourself credit for.
To answer your question, I was 10 when I had my first boyfriend, but I was 16 when I had my first real boyfriend, complete with a relationship and ending with a broken heart. But I got over it. :)
These are the best years of your life..... ENJOY THEM, DONT STRESS!

Guys your age at this time are very shy. Don't worry about having a boyfriend right now. Concentrate on school.

I was 16 when I had my first BF. I really didn't think about boys before that and I am glad because I read on here about how young girls are stressed over boys and it is sad. . Please enjoy your youth and have fun with friends because you have the rest of your life to worry about men.

SOmeone will come, like rain, when you least expect it...~wink~wink~

don't be in a hurry for a boygriend. It's not all that it's cracked up to be. But if you want a boyfriend, then go for it. You have plenty of time in life for that
