In our so society, marrying cousins or having sex is legal. I think this is right. this is not incest.

In certain states it is legal to marry your 1st cousin. This was over ten years ago so it may of changed by now. Most states in America it is illegal.
Legal or not it's a horrible thing to get hooked up with your cousin. I say this because when the relation is close and you produce a child the child more than likely will have birth defects.
I would say if it's a cousin through marriage or a cousin way way down the line then it would be safe.
Personally I would never date or become very close with any of my cousin. I think it's disgusting.
But I guess whatever floats your boat. I don't agree with it. I think it's incest. I will probably never understand why someone would want to hook up with their cousin. On this topic I have to admit that I am closed minded. (Sorry)

1st cousin is incest....2nd cousin and on down is not. The genetics with 1st cousins is still too close and can produce problems with the children of such a union. 2nd cousins have been diluted genetically to the point that these problems occur about the same as in the general population.

Leviticus 19 says nothing about cousins, so if neither your culture nor the laws of your jurisdiction say it's incest, then it's not incest.
But you'd better be careful about both the culture and the law.
And just in case, make sure there are no genetic conditions running through your family.

I disagree. Consanguinity can result in birth defects and the idea of being with a cousin creeps me out. There are plenty of people in the world...why do you want to get with a relative?

Procreating with your cousin can result in serious birth defects because the genes are too similar. I wouldn't do it even if I had a cousin whose IQ was over 72.

Watch "Wrong turn", get good and creeped out, then get out and meet some new people.

It is accepted well enough in Europe. My aunt and uncle are first cousins, one kid ended up a doctor and the other a math professor.....

in many parts of india, a man can marry his own sisters daughter, and a girl her moms brother. pharos married in family, ; kigs death gets the son all the harem of his father except his gen.mother. so, times, places, societies, taboos, rites, and all that. if thats good for you, then gooood.
