what you do to one said, you do to the other

but when you divide or multiply by a negative number you flip over the sign

so if it was > before, and you divide by -20.. then it's >

solve both of them lik there is a = sign there

difference:

if u have to multiply or divide by a negative # on the inequality then the inequality sign flips (< turns to > ; > turns to <)

when graphing them u use:
- a solid line for equalities
- a dotted line and shading* for inequality
- a solid line and shading* for greater than or equal to/ less than or equal to

* shading is above or below ur line depending on if the sign says < or > ...... if it has < then shade below the enitre line, if it has > then shade above than entire line
