The technology that does the harm doesn't come with automatic feedback about it's effects. The knowledge about effects come from seperate developments and people.
There is overlap ,where for instance ,airplane technology allows aerial photography. But the analytical skills come ,I would suggest ,from seperate motivations and interests.

I think that man has developed much quicker technologically than mentally - we have fantastic technology but intellectually speaking we don't have the capability to use it responsibly. Clearly the powers that be have seen more benefit in creating technology that can destroy man or render him obsolete than using it for a better end. It's a dangerous state of affairs in my opinion, rather like giving a teenager a gun, just on a much larger scale.
I'm on the side of the luddites .........

I would have thought that understanding how technology works is the basic requirements of both sides of this issue and therefore would not regard it as coincidence. Can we grow up enough to act responsibly? I suspect not because it all comes down to money.

People don't care as long as they have money. think about alot of people are rich from oil. If we stop buying oil and use electric cars oil businesses will fail and everyone for those country will lose jobs and go on unemployment or welfare. But people don't care about the planet which they should its a shame. By the time mankind is responsible it will be to late and the planet will be destroyed by nuclear bombs or something.

wid power comes respnosibility... it is up to man to not get corrupted by the power and to be strong... bt as u can see wid the world now... man is too weak to handle all that power..
