I was j.w. cause i think my parents might be lieing to me so i can do extra chors. but, is it alowed in NY to get ur tounge perced even if ur a minor with a parents concent???? cause i thought that u cant do that anymore. please tell me cause i want it dont and if there lieing to me im gunna freak!

You go girl....but please take care of that thing, you are young and I know you don't wanna hear it, but you do have to be extra careful with it. Keep it clean, and don't pick up that bad clicking habit. Since you are only 13 the chances of you breaking or chipping some teeth is pretty good, so just be careful. I don't know about NY, but over here in California, minors can get peircings and even tattoos as long as a parent accompanies them and fills out a waiver.
Think about why you want this and understand that it may end up haunting you for the rest of your life. I don't know if the hole will ever close like in other peircings, but consider why your parents are making you do "extra" chores to get this done. Your lucky your parents are so giving and you shouldn't freak out if they say no. Not alot of minors get this chance. Just wait until your 18 if it turns out their lying to you. Its not big deal, you can still get it.

Why would you do that? no your too young you have to be 18 and what that girl wrote isnt true it will heal in 1 day even if its been pierced for years because i have to repierce mine all the time and it does that because the tounge is a muscle WAIT TILL UR 18 DONT LET YOUR FRIEND DO IT AND DONT DO IT YOUSELF THERE ARE VEINS IN YOUR TOUNGE DON"T PIERCE IT U CAN DO WHAT U WANT WHEN YOUR 18

So far as I know (and I might be wrong) you cannot get either peirced or tattooed until you are 16 WITH parental permission, 18 without, unless you have someone do it illegally. However, they are your parents, they spend tons of money on you, whether you know it or not, and if they don't know, they did before, so don't freak too badly on them. They coulda spent all that money on things tehy actually wanted instead of you.

If you're only 13, you don't need such a sexual piercing. The piercer probably won't do it even if you do have your parent's consent just due to the nature of the piercing. DO some research, don't just expect yahoo people to tell you everything you'll need to know.

I think you need to skip the tongue piercing and learn how to spell. A good education will get you more in life than tattoos and piercings. Besides, what you like now will not be what you will like 10 years from know. I'm afraid you'll be sorry.

Your parents are stupid if they are allowing you to pierce your tongue! You are too young to have this done - DON'T DO IT! It is totally stupid, you can get a serious infection that could cause you to need to have your tongue amputated! Do you think it will make you sexy? It will only demonstrate how irresponsible and immature you are!

Well I'm not positive about that, but just remember, if it gets infected, it will hurt, and might have to be ripped out. Just consider what you are doing first.
