Yes, I do think we will have a female president. And I pray it is NOT Hillary Clinton. She is a deceptive woman who, of late, has been proclaiming more conservative views to attract more supporters. Once she gets what she wants, she can't be trusted to maintain them - then, it's too late. Her husband couldn't be trusted to remain faithful, or truthful - can we realistically expect honesty from her?

Answer to the first question: Not any time soon, and certainly not in the next presidential election. We are at war and most likely will be at (some) war in the future. The nations we have conflicts with or depend on for support are not likely to ever respond well to a female leader (especially Middle Eastern, Asian and Arab nations). A good example is how they responded to Colin Powell as Sec. of State vs. Condi Rice today.
Answer to the second: I refer back to my answer to the first question. Anyone who wears nylons, heels and skirts won't have what it takes, even if they really "do" have what is needed. I do think a woman is very capable of being a good President but the majority of the U.S. and the rest of the world will never agree. Hillary is no Maggie Thatcher. I think Madeleine Albright would have had a better chance.

I don't think we're at that point yet where we're ready.
As for Hillary, no I don't believe she would make a good President.
There is talk that Barrack Obama of Illinois will run next election.
He would be considered a front runner by the Washington insiders and we'll see if the U.S. is ready to elect a ''black'' man as President.

We're going to have to in the next election. The ticket is predicted to be Democrat-H. Clinton / Republican- C. Rice.
Does Hilary have what it takes? Sure. Look at our current president - it doesn't take much. Just have to know people which she does, and have money, so yeah she totally has what it takes.
If that is the case I will vote for Hilary because I think Condi is a bit of a puppet and I want to get us as far as possible from the Bush campaign. I think she will do just fine. Any way it goes we're practically guaranteed an improvement.

Hillary was President for 8 years, bill was just her puppet, he was too busy chasing skirt to do the Job he was elected to. and the only reason that Hillary stayed with him was because the country needed someone to run the Presidency. If your happy with the job she did then, then vote for her again.

Hillary or Oprah are the only ones I think have a shot. If they're not elected then no woman is going to be president. Kinda sad but . . . . it's reality.

Maybe in the distant future but not anytime soon. By the time they consider a woman as President Hillary would be dead.

I support the idea of allowing America to elect a woman president for a change. I am pretty sure that Hilary has everything that is necessary for this seat.

Why does the woman have to be Hillary? There are actually
women in our country who are capable of running it well.
