I uploaded a songlist from my computer to my phone and now use most of my favorite songs for the people who call me the most. For example, "Trashing the Camp" from Disney's Tarzan movie is assigned to my flatmate... so whenever she calls me it sounds like she is getting violent in the kitchen (she is very mild-mannered) and smashing plates and such about. The first words in the Chely Wright song I assigned to my "boss" are "Shut Up and Drive"... and since I love this song it just makes me want to listen to the song a little longer instead of answering her call... but I do not think she has caught on to that one yet. A friend, who works in a kindergarten, has been assigned the Muppet Babies Theme Song - appropriate, don't ya think? And my director has a techno jedi remix ... I have no clue where I acquired it...
So whenever my phone rings with just a ring... it is probably a telemarketer. But I answer it anyway because they get all flustered when I answer in English and repeatedly say, in English, "I do not speak Chinese. May I help you?"
So basically, my phone's ringtones are all superb since they were chosen from some of my favorite songs... or the songs that just make me smile! Now I have to find "When I'm 64..." to assign to my Dad (who is just 60)!
