Can anyone tell me what to get out on dvd tonight? I like good action, thriller/suspense and courtroom drama's. What did you think of the film or heard about it? I live in the U.K. by the way.

I have to agree with a lot of you what you are suggesting, Runaway Jury is a great film to watch and so is Bourne Identity (got the boxset on dvd)

Running Scared

Nobody makes movies like Running Scared any more. Five years ago, this film would've been toned down by whichever studio released it in order for it to receive the lowest certificate possible. Bravo, then, to writer/director Wayne Kramer for sticking to his guns and delivering one of the most uncompromising, memorable and downright brutal thrillers in recent memory.

Joey (Paul Walker) is a small-time mobster hired to dispose of 'hot' guns for his bosses. One of these weapons (with particular value over all the others) falls into the hands of his son's best friend and is used to startling effect. Here is where the real fun starts. Joey can find neither the child nor the weapon in question, and he has only 18 hours before either the police, the Russian mafia or his own employers catch up with him.

Walker is surprisingly impressive considering the strictly one-dimensional roles he played in movies such as The Fast And The Furious and Into The Blue. Here he plays Joey as someone well aware of his impending death should he fail, and throughout he is totally watchable and believable. No more will audiences giggle to themselves every time he delivers a dud of a line.

Watch Bourne Identity or Bourne Supremecy (if you've seen the first). Or A Time To Kill (good courtroom stuff). Or that Arlington Drive film, can't remember the name now.

The last really good movie I saw was "INSIDE MAN" (R)
But a cool new one is "Miami Vice" terrible plot... but, there were little or no special effects used throughout the movie... You know those BMW's and Land rovers.... Real guns with real bullets leaving real bullet holes... no graphic enhancements there and this movie was also shot in HDTV it made it really easy to edit.
As far as DVDs I have never heard of Courtroom... But Borne Identity should do just fine.

I liked "Runaway Jury." It has been out on DVD for a while, but Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, John Cusak, and Rachel Weiss are great. It has twists and turns galore and combines elements of all the movie genres you mentioned you enjoy.

Red Eye is a very good suspense thriller. Being directed by Wes Craven, one would think it was a horror movie, but it was actually a suspense movie. Good performances by Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy.

If you know Hindi then go for old Hindi classic Mera Saya featuring Sunil Dutt and Sadhna. It has romance, suspense, thrill and above all court room drama.
