Sure. Just as you are friends with guys, you can maintain friends with girls as long as the relationship's platonic and certain lines aren't crossed. If you keep your friendships light hearted and fun, they'll most definitely stay that way... however, do be aware, once you open yourself emotionally to a girl, you're placing yourself in uncertain waters, she may begin to like you realizing you're exposing that "side" to her and vice versa as you may see a girl can almost always offer more (emotionally) than your male cohorts. Most males build relationships on what they "do" physically while females centralize friendships about what we "say", "feel", what dispositions we have.... apply the nature of your friendships with guys to your girls and you'll be fine. As long as you aren't leading anyone on, are open and communicative, you'll do more than succeed in the relationship aspects of things, your social life will flourish! Wish you all the luck in your personal endeavours.

I use to have a lot of guy friends. I have learned that most of them have underlying intentions. So maybe you can, but don't expect more than friendship from your friends. There is nothing wrong with having those friends. Having a girlfriend is or not having a girlfriend (relationship) is completely OK and I think you are wise about that. Have fun with your friends and do what you want.

Yes there is no reason why you cant have lots of girls as friends but not a girlfriend. You obviously havent found one you want to be with. The right girl will come along if you wait long enough. Enjoy life and no ties while you are young all to soon you will be tied to a wife, kids and mortgage!

Life is for living!

Of course you can. You should stop thinking about the partnership side of things and just look at friendships - then you might find a 'girlfriend'!
Look at it this way, girls have lots of friends as girls - does that make them all lesbian?

Yeah, im a girl and I prefer guy friends over girls. And yes, I do have a boyfriend. Just be careful you might be mistaken to be gay, not that there is something wrong with that.. but i know you get my point.

What am I saying??? Be friends with whomever you like! Who cares what others may think!!

Sure, some guys like girls as friends. It's the same with both genders. Girls can have guy friends and guys can have girlsfriends, no one needs to date or anything.

Yes, it is normal to have friends, wether they are girls are not. Be proud of that too.. Lads round this area hardly ever hang about with the girls..
