It could be stress related. You could be trying too hard.
OR
He could be the reason you aren't getting pregnant. Has he been tested to make sure his soldiers are armed?

I don't really understand how you've been to doctors over this matter and they "don't say anything?" I had the opposite of what you had, I bled for over year (everyday) and tried 3 different medications to shrink a fibroid tumor. This kind of tumor can either prevent or induce bleeding. Once they were removed I now have a normal period (every 28 days) and have become very fertile!! Some are missed through ultrasounds or internals, just go to another doctor or maybe you've seen the right doctor but asked the wrong questions? (or described the symptoms in the wrong way? You do need to get it checked and resolved, because if I would of let it go for about 1 more month (the doctor said) it could of turned cancerous. (my phv levels were very high)

It is not normal for a fertile woman not having her periods for a year. If you are too skinny, you may not have your periods. If Barbie would exist, she wouldn't have her periods. Woman in concentration camps in the 40's didn't had their periods due to unhealthiness and lack of food and water. The fact that you don't have your periods is very concerning. it is as if you dont produce the right hormones to control your cycle. as said before, maybe the problem lies in your thyroid gland. TSH (thyroid specific hormone) is a blood test which can say if your thyroid is fine, or not. if the problem is from hormones, i suggest to consult an endocrinologist. your boyfriend can also have a spermogram. why is it that every time a girl cant get pregnant, we always think shes the one with the problem? this test is really simple and it wont hurt him! consult a doctor togheter.
well, either way, good luck.

my monthlys are all over the place to and always have been i have had two children but it did take longer then it should i would like more but it just isn't happening i think you should go back to your gp and ask for a blood test on your thyroid and to be seen by a doctor at the hospital that can do the right tests i must say the more you stress about it the less chance you have of becoming pregnant just go through the right tests and dont take no from the gp stress how upset you are

Has your partner been tested? He might have a low sperm count. You have to handle this gently because men have fragile egos.
Why do you want to get pregnant before you are married? No commitment? He could leave at any time and hang you out to dry, and he will have no legal rights to the baby. Funny how this works - because then when they get old and sick, they wonder why the kids don't want to be bothered with them.
Think.

Stress perhaps? Although I doubt it would last for such a long period of time.
My sister experienced similar problems, it was discovered she had polycystic ovarian syndrome and problems with her thyroid also. She took kelp tablets and a few other things suggested by her naturopath.
Maybe try a naturopath - they are often a lot better with these things than doctors, plus much healthier alternatives!
Good luck

I find it hard to believe that the doctor you went too didnt' say anything. Dont think a doctor will say "oops, sorry can't help you. have a good day. bye bye now". But one thing for sure is that if you don't ovulate you can't get pregnant. (menstration is a sign that you are ovulating)
