i thought we were all created equal!so why do some people think they are so much better then the rest of us?

We ARE created equal. It's just that some of us choose to use our brains for better choices in life, which GIVES us a better life.
That still doesn't make anyone BETTER than another, just smarter.
As for the " snobs ", there's a problem with ego, and the ignorance of believing that money makes them better than the poor. And THAT makes them more poor than those without money !

Perhaps there was a time when we were all created equal. But genetic defects have been allowed to run rampantly through the human race. It has depleted not only our physical abilities, but also our mental efficiencies.
We are no longer created equally. Nor are we raised equally. So, as much as I hate to burst your bubble, there is no equality anymore. It's dog eat dog & may the best man win!

We were all created equal...in that we all deserve fair treatment but physically, emotionally, and even spiritually, 1 persons needs differ from another.
So, those who "think" they know something --just goes to show you how true the saying goes "that it maybe a Penny for thoughts but it's far more valuable when you are wise", as wisdom is the prime thing, not knowledge. We're all Free to think whatever we like, but the wise person is one who is realistically modest and knows his limitations .

The all created equal mantra is just baloney. How do you compare with Paris Hilton for example.

B/c you have ppl who went to college, born into wealthy families, and just jerks.
People that work hard, go to college, and live a important lifestyle deserve to be called important. It took them many years to get were they are.

Inferiority complex. Those people don't REALLY think they're better than everyone else. They just want everyone to think they do so hopefully nobody will notice their self-perceived character flaws.
