As I have been telling many people, now is a poor time to get a graphics card unless you absolutely NEED to do so. The reason is that DirectX 10 graphics cards will be coming out this September and will make ALL current generation GPUs tuck their tails and run. You're wasting your money if you get a 7950GX2. If you need a graphics card now just to get you through a few games then a Geforce 7600GS/7600GT will do the trick if you have a PCIe slot but you'll even be replacing those in a matter of months. If you have an AGP slot then anything in the 6800 series (except for the LE) will do nicely.
