How long before you have sex is one thing. How long before you have UNPROTECTED sex is another. You need to have a minimum of 2-3 ZERO sperm counts before you have unprotected sex. Sperm is stored below where the cut of the vasectomy, so there are plenty of them to get your new girlfriend pregnant for several ejaculations.
So, be VERY careful!!

You can have sex immediately after a vasectomy. However, you risk the dehiscence of your scrotal wound. I minor complication for the joys of hot sex

Wait until you're comfortable with the act of sex.
However, if you're really asking, "How long before I can have sex and not get this girl pregnant?"...you need to allow for at least 20 ejaculations before all sperm can be assumed to be cleaned out of your system.
Bottom line: use protection for a while.

Your urologist doctor will be the best person to answer this question.
Basically your doctor will be collecting samples from you on certain intervals to make sure you are sterile after the procedure.

2 weeks...If you get the desire, the biggest down fall for vasectomies is the lack of desire.

How long? You wait until you MARRY the young woman, so if that is a year, you wait a year.
But then if you honored that principle, you most probably wouldn'ty need a vasectomy.

UNtil you heal and the pain stops. I don't actually know, but I'm sure it'll be at least 3 weeks. Your doctor will be able to tell you.

Didn't the doctor tell you? I know someone who had one and he only waited 1 week, but ask your doctor first.
