I'm sorry, but you may never get over it. I know you want to just get past it, but maybe what you should try to do is appreciate and accept it for what it was, instead. The reason "getting over it" is so difficult is that we can't really accept that we had this relationship, and it ended. Try to appreciate the relationship for exactly what it was and remember that everything in life has a beginning, its time, and an end. If you can learn from your experience, you will become a stronger and more tender person for it. I know it's hard, but you can do it! :)

I think if you did the breaking up it would a little bit easier because thats what you wanted and expected, but its still hard. However if you were on the receiving end of the breaking up then it's even harder. Serious relationships involving love can take 2 years to heal quite a bit, you can see a counsellor or relate they work on relationships. I wish happinness in the love and relationship department!

By falling in love again with another. Stop crying about spilt milk and search for someone that doe4sn;t want to lose you. Apprently, your husband is very dumb for letting you go because there's nothing wrong with you. he probaboy coudn't handle what he had. You were too much for him becasue he's a child. Let the loser go...and find yourtself a real Man like me.:)

I'll tell you what NOT to do. Don't think by jumping in the sack with someone else, that the feeling of being wanted is going to help you. It will not help you. Give yourself time to heal from the hurt before you do ANYTHING sexual with ANYONE.

Sex is NOT the answer, but most likely, the problem.
