Where does it say that,did I miss the memo on the FW?
I don't know but I don't think so ,all country's have beautiful women and France doesn't have a monopoly.The Miss Universe isn't French,I don't think any one woman from any country is the epitome of beauty.beauty is subjective and thus is in the eyes of the beholder.My husband says I am the perfect woman but he sees me through eyes that are clouded by his love for me . so to others his opinion is judged to be biased .So just celebrate all the beauty of every women in this world,because someone is looking at them through the eyes of an others love.

Well, according to me, this is all stereotypes... Exactly the same way the French are supposed to be coward, lazy, dirty, what so ever.
I think there is a marketing side of the "beauty" you're referring to, as many fashion brands and fashion magazines are French or French owned.
Maybe there is a bit of truth in the fact that statistically there are much more obese people in other countries, but this is changing!!!!!

Trust me-that's just someones fantasy. Being French does not make a woman beautiful, smart, or desirable. There may be a few that are-but it is not the norm.
Now if you ask 'why are the French celebrated as being stupid', you may have something to discuss. The French have been a pain in the world's behind for at least 200 years. There is no sign of improvement.

Don't know... I've been to several places in France while stationed in Germany for six years. While there were some highly attactive women there, I really don't think they were any more beautiful than women of other nationalities.

I don't really know, but women from Southern France do have excellent bone structure (i.e. Angelina Jolie--yes, I know she's American, but I think that is her ethnic origin).
