First of all youneed a resumé. You should bring it to any company you are interested to work at, even if they dont need
employees yet, most places will accept your resumé and check it out before putting an add in the paper. If you dont have work experience or education you can still build a resumé. Did you ever do volounteer work, help others, mow lawns, babysat kids, help with homework, wrote in the school paper, were you ever part of a commitee or any thing? Surf trough the net for ways to build a good resumé. Finally do something you like, if you like music try a music store, if you like cooking try working in a kitchen etc. Good luck!

Depends on the job you are looking for. If you're looking for a job in retail or fast food, it is best to go door to door. Go into a store, ask if they're hiring, fill out an application, and when you're finished, ask to see the manager so that they have a face to go with the application.

You can look for jobs in the paper, at the Unemployment Office, or actually go to the employer. State, County and local cities usually have a Human Resources office or a web site.
Plan on getting out of the house because no one is going to hire you just sitting at home.
