i prefer the old yahoo page

Try clearing the cookies from you browser. Most likely Yahoo! uses a cookie to know if you've tried the new page. It is also likely that Yahoo! has finally done away with the old page and you're stuck.
To clear your cookies in FIrefox click on Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies and click Clear Cookies Now. You can also view each cookie individually and if you feel comfortable delete only the cookies for Yahoo!
In IE click on Tools > Internet Options and click Delete Cookies.
If this doesn't work then I would have to say Yahoo! no longer has the old page, unless someone else out there knows how to get back to it. Good luck!

go to the bottom right hand corner of the page, and select switch to old page.
