Well, I know you have to be at least 13 to be on yahoo answers but I also know that kids are smart enough to type in a different bday. Kids can forge parental info. The net is easy to manipulate so there is no really good way of enforcing it.
I understand where you are coming from but I am glad Yahoo answers is a vessel some kids can use for help. Sometimes its really hard to talk to your parents and when you want some unbiased and true answers from adults who have been there it can really help. I have seen 13, 14, and 15 year old girls ask about "when the right time to have sex is" If they really listen and just one girl waits and keeps herself from getting pregnant and going on to have a life then I can put up with a few stupid teenagers questions, like what should I wear on the first day of school. I have seen more perverted adults asking highly offensive or inappropriate questions. I think the adult behavior on here is worse. I am a 25 year old woman married with an 18 year old sis. I am glad teenagers have some where else they can reach when paren'ts arent around or unwilling to listen. My parents were impossible to deal with and they still are. So live and let live and save all the "place for everything: for the outside world. Kids don't belong in nice restaurants, museums, or any place they can make a huge mess and scream their head off.

Great idea, but who are you calling kids? I saw something yesterday while I was goofing around that said you had to be at least 13 - to me that's still a kid - but what would be the cutoff age between adults and kids - 18?

I asked that too the kids have a column for them they like to try to fool everyone but with the dumb questions an adult wouldn't ask and the spelling no one is fooled. So if everyone would not answer their questions it would put an end to so many of those kids questions.

The age limit here is 13, so there aren't (or shouldn't be) any young kids here, but come on. Just because people are young doesn't mean that they don't have questions to ask or helpful input to give.

I love kids too and they do make this site move. Kids aren't nearly as naive as many adults think that they are...whether for good or bad.
Most kids are far too overprotected and that can only lead to increased rebellion during their teens.

I agree 100%. i would hate for any little kid to get chewed out by half of the "adult" morons on here or to have them be exposed to any trash.

I agree with you 100%. The web is not a safe place for children on their own.

They would still find some way to get on. Just deal with it. It's not like you have to take care of them.
