The problem is called diversity in face of over-population. If one in a million has a serious personal or mental problem, in a world of 6 billion people, you have 6 thousand of them. If one in a hundred turn out to behave badly, you end up with a really big number.

In the old days, we still had bad behavior, we just didn't hear about it.

It sounds depressing (and indeed these are depressing times) but that is why I don't let my kids watch TV.

Also you list a long string of things. Maybe what the world also needs is greater religious tolerance. Have you rvrt thought that perhaps atheists or agnostics are okay too. Maybe being born homosexual is okay (did you know other animal species also have homosexuality?) Like I said, we are a diverse species. We can't expect everyone to be the same.

It makes the news and people want to hear and read about it. It happens in every country every where. When you put this many people all on one planet with different ideas and perspectives and group them together chaos is bound to be the end result. Just worry about yourself and you will be fine. It has worked for me so far

I don't have a problem, if you want to be gay be gay, I don't care about the war and I like rich people and poor people so I think we should just mind our own business.

Nothing is inherently wrong with anyone.

The influence of our parents, our experiences, our education, the media, our physical environment, etc. have contributed to what we have become.

If that's all you think about, you're going to drive yourself crazy. Try to balance that with the positives in your life. We all have things to be thankful for.

people are way to selfish these days, "want it yesterday and you WILL give it to me atitude" I believe in the pay it forward atitude. What you give will be given back, I try hard to give good.
