I feel that our society has put a lot of pressure on men to NOT show their feelings and be as "MANLY" as possible.
We have such strict codes of male and female behavior, but we forget we are ALL human
and emotions come with being human.
I definitely think that man should feel and be able to cry if needed
I also agree if a man cries too much or is overly emotional he is not looked at as a strong man but a good balance of emotion is always good, natural, and healthy
thanks for the question!

First of all, the sensitive man is such crap.
If someone dIEs, yes, you can cry, at anytime-- but only for family or really close friends (like brothers) but only for a limited time say a year... If you lose a child or your wife, there is no restriction what-so-ever.
if you break up with someone, you can cry in private, and then you can say what a wench she was anyway in public.
If you cry to your woman who you are in a fight with, she will not respect you. She will know it's just so that you make her feel sorry for you. (this is where men think that women like to be treated like crap- a show of strength, not weakness will make the woman come back) _it's screwy yes, but that's the way it is...
If you cry for ANY TYPE OF MOVIE- you are a BIG BIG BIG SISSY. Unless it is a true story and you are PERSONALLY impacted by it. ie, the 9/11 movies, and The Passion. The movies BEACHES and TERMS OF ENDEARMENT-- you should not even be watching these.

It is OK for everyone ( man, woman or otherwise) to cry if they feel like. The only thing that makes you a weak person is being weak. Crying and weakness are not synonymous. Do what you feel. Self expression and emotional release are the key to sanity

I think it's okay for a man to do that but personally, i wouldn't be very attracted if my guy does that. If it's a friend that did that, it's fine. I admit i do associate it with some weakness but afterall, I understand that they have emotions too.

It takes a stable guy to enable his guard down and cry in front of a woman. No, i wouldn't in any respect evaluate this an illustration of weak spot. men are human and that they've genuine thoughts. Expressing such thoughts does not make you much less of a guy.

Men that can't control their temper or other negative emotions, especially in public are weak. Crying for really good reason, or with your closest friends is OK.

I think it is perfectly OK for a man to show is emotions and cry if he must. But I hate a crybaby- someone who always cries at anything- in either sex.
