You will have to unbolt the motor mounts and raise up the engine to get the oil pan loose. You probably won't be able to get it completely off with the engine in the car, so you will have to drop it down as far as possible & reach around it to change the pump.
Make sure to install a new pickup tube & screen with the pump, and clean the sludge out of the bottom of the pan.

I only went by using the right comparable thinking with my jeep final week, it incredibly is how went approximately it. I went for the gas filter out first it grow to be in basic terms a $30 gamble yet given the age of the motor vehicle and the miles I had on it it relatively is replaced besides so I figured that grow to be money nicely spent. long tale short it finally grow to be the gas pump. I called a save for an estimate and it grow to be $313 for the pump and $2 hundred for hard artwork. So i offered the excellent gas pump assembly at advance vehicle for $230 and with a floor jack and a pal to assist. interior 3 hours i grow to be lower back on the line. It wasn't annoying in any respect to drop the tank( and it grow to be complete ), even had to do away with the trailer hitch too. I saved approximately $283.00 and a tow bill.
