Talk show host seem to be labeling liberals today as an anti-American group no better than the fanatic terroists killing innocent people around the world. I have core liberal beliefs: education for all, individual rights, care for the young and elderly, etc. These core liberal beliefs do not extend to terrorists. These people who are killing the innocent need to be eliminated by whatever means possible. I don't believe the current administration and the current leadership on both side of the aisle are effectively dealing with the problem. Just because a Democrat comes up with some idiotic notion on how to handle terrorism, it doesn't make it a liberal viewpoint. There are just as many idiotic Republican thoughts on the matter. Terrorism is a common cause and needs eradication. We need to bring the best solution to the surface. Can this liberal/conservative debate be put on the back burner? How about one voice on this issues America?

Liberals define the term based on what they mean to say, and what they are trying to accomplish.

Anti-liberals (which includes many but not all conservatives) define it based on how they can attack people they don't like. As long as you can define what your enemy gets labeled, you have one more tool in the political fight.

The problem with liberals (on the whole) is that are too tolerant, too willing to engage in rational debate, and don't see the point in participating in mindless name-calling and mud-slinging. That leaves them in a disadvantage in a mud-slinging fight, which seems to be all people are interested in watching.

Good Question. I belive that the ideas of liberalism are good. I am a independent. I have strong feeling on both sides of the fence. I support the war yet I appose censorship. The reason liberals get the bad wrap I believe is this. I am a conservationist I dont like to see animals mistreated yet I hunt and believe that humans have more rights than that of a dog or cat. A liberal would accuse me of being a murderer of animals. You see with extreme liberals the ones that give liberals a bad name their is no in between. It is either their way or no way. They belive is isnt right to execute someone who has murder an innocent person. Which is insane, AN eye for an eye. This will never change until we get rid of the 2 parties in office. They are the downfall of this great country. They are all pigs that care nothing for you or I. America is in a crisis and the cause of it is our Government. I was supposed to be for the people/ With theses 2 political parties it is only for them and their powerful friends. Help us all we need a new government

impressive question. Any pass in the route of particularly methodical wondering in this position is likely a good idea. i'm a liberal yet I outline liberals as those who pay lip service to protecting gay rights, womens' rights and non secular multiculturalism at the same time as simultaeneously ignoring the actual incontrovertible reality that Islam is on a collision route with those self same values and could spoil those issues, given 1/2 a probability. Conservatives on the different hand are adversarial to gay rights (except curiously the right to be alive) and have a tendency to have the balls to work out and talk of Islam as no longer a probability free fuzzy bunny. each and every side are like huge morons having an epic wrestling adventure with united statesa. as their ring. Granted, that is variety of an emotional evaluation.

Take the World's Smallest Political Quiz.
It doesn't just look at the world as liberal or conservative.
If you are fiscally conservative but liberal on social issues, you may be a libertarian.
