if you are going to use the on-line scanner ,make sure you uninstall your current scanner,as two scanners will conflict,but i would strongly advise you not to use a on-line scanner,well for now anyway,as not much is known about the reliability of online virus protection
as for the rest,the norton anti-spyware is a excellent program as is the pop up blocker
