I want to rent a screen at a local theater to show my friend's favortie movie as a birthday gift. How do I go about it and how can you find cartoons, movie shorts and old movies still in ooprint?

Call one of your local theaters. They also may be able to direct you to someone who can provide cartoons, movie shorts, etc.

Call your local theatre and they will rent to you most of the time. As far as clips moves and shorts, see if the theatre have a digital projector if they do look on the net download the clips and burn them to CD and take it with you to the theatre. They should be able to play the media through the projector without having the "film" I hope this helps.
