They should and they shouldnt. Europe is considered to bed where the best clubs are, the most competitive soccer. But Mexican players usually make more money in Mexico, why is why they dont go and play in Europe.

Mexican players should go play there to raise the experience and competitiveness of Mexican players.

I also believe that Mexican players should stay and play in Mexico and raise the level of competition in Mexico. The International community does not think much of Mexican Soccer Leauges.

I think the game between Barcelona Chivas, and Barcelona America did a lot to show the world that Mexican teams can play with the best teams in Europe.

Yeah, "Sam O" hits the nail on the head, the Mexican league is in many ways over-paid and has been for a long time. This has put a "stop" on the number of Mexicans going over to Europe in past years. (Why go to Europe and make less and be expected to play better?)

This is changing and players like Bogetti and Marquez have been "pounding the drum" to get more players interested in going to Europe. (The best of the young players like Vela and Dos Santos are already there.)

This years "crop" is the largest number of Mexicans in history going abroad to play and this will pay HUGE dividends down the road for Mexican football. For better or worse the European leagues are the world's best AND they play much more inter-league games than anywhere else. The world's top players play in Europe. There is nowhere on Earth where a player can gain more valuable experience, more rapidly than in Europe!

Check out each World Cup's "surprise" teams they always are teams with lots of players playing in Europe! You are going to BE better if you are always playing the BEST!

(Oh, and to those Mexico-bashing gringo racists: why don't you just go back to watching Paris Hilton videos, abusing drugs and having sex with members of your own families, and just leave the football talk to the rest of us.... Oaky Doaky?)

mexico has some of the greatest soccer players in the world
with talent and ability to play in the top clubs in europe like arsenal, chelsea, barcelona, etc....... the problem is that in the domestic luegue a player like guillermo ochoa 19 year goalkeeper sensation who currently makes about 2.4 million a year in his team and he is a starter if he make the jump he will make a lot less and will have to start from the bottom. so many choose not to transfer for money reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not
becouse there are not qualified cuz they get paid more.. racist morons. youre just jealous cuz mexico has great talent.

fyi the mexican soccer luegue is one of the best tournementas in america and the richiest why you think most south americans
player prefer to go the mexican luegue rather than the european one....

Mexicans players who are moving to europe since the WC.
Kikin Fonseca - Benfica (Portugal)
Pavel Pardo - Stuggart (Germany)
Ricardo Osorio - Stuggart (Germany)
Carlos Salcido - PSV Eindehoven (Netherland)

Mexicans already in Europe
Jared Borgetti - Bolton (England)
Rafa Marquez - Barcelona (Spain)
Carlos Vela - Arsenal (England) on loan to Salamanca until 18
Giovanni dos Santos - Barcelona (Spain)

Racing (Spain) is interested in Omar Bravo.
Real Madrid (Spain) is interested in Andres Guardado.

It is a great idea and they are definitely good enough. The problem is that they are getting paid so much in the domestic league, most don't see a reason to move to Europe where they will not break out right away or miss home.

if they are qualified and have the talent, then why not?? i mean, marquez plays for barcelona, and fonseca was recently signed to benfica.

however, i wouldnt just start sending mexican players over to europe. i think some have a good chance of making an excellent career for themselves in europe but its possible that some of them might not be able to handle the pressures of playing on some of the big-name european clubs.

its all about the talent and the ability to adapt to playing with not just a different team, but a team filled with players who are at the top of the game and who may play with styles different from you own.

lastly, the shouldnt go play for european clubs is money is the only thing they have on their minds cause yes, they may sign a great contract with a big team, but most of the teams already have amazing players and its possible that a new guy may not have the opportunity to play as often and be in competition with the other members of the team for field time.

i think they should that way the players get the experience of experiencing real soccer without the whole competition between the domestics leagues (idk if this is a good ex. but Chivas vs America ----everyone watches to see the whole rivalry thing and not really on how good a player really is) if they go to Europe not only will this benefit them as professionals but also it will benefit the whole Mexican team in important events as in the WC or not so important events like friendly matches.

The good thing about them staying is that, the mexican people can enjoy their great talent and not those people in europe that want to pay prob less for them and expect better performance from them? dumb

Only if the players are goign to start for the European team. If not, they should just stay in the domestic league. Best example is Marques who starts for Barca. Worst, Borgeti who was sitting on the bench for Bolton.

YES!!! but if they go just to sit on the bench than they just better stay in their current team and gain more skill.
