It's in the store itself, right? Or corporate? If corporate, dress business, if just the store, just wear a nice outfit. Good luck.

Take a look at what the employees are wearing. It is appropriate to dress nicely but basically for the type of work you will be doing. You don't want to under dress but you also don't want to over dress.
You basically want to dress like you could go to work right that minute if they wanted you to. Would you want to work at Michael's all day in a dress and high heels?

You want to look professional.

If you are young, you probably don't have a suit....

I'd wear slacks or a skirt that comes to the knee or longer with a nice blouse.

Don't wear anything too clingy, too short, or that shows your belly (make sure your shirt overlaps you pants) or too much leg/cleavage.

Remember, first impressions are lasting. Smile and give a firm handshake.

Good luck!

Dress for the job. You only need suit and stuff if it is something really important or career related. I'm guessing this isn't the case.. so wear a nice pair of khakis and avoid anything revealing.. no excessive makeup or fragrance and just be yourself. You are trying to sell yourself for the job, so don't be ashamed to talk good about yourself - and tell them what they want to hear.

Make it known that you are dependable and like to keep busy.

wear nice dress pants and a clean pressed shirt. Be yourself and answer only the questions that they ask. Do not give more information than needed.

Dress conservative because it is a family oriented store and not much for style and all types of generations will come there to shop. So dressing conservative will give you that edge for the position

I like the white-shirt-black-pants suggestions; it's good for interviews because it makes you look like you're ready to go straight to work. Good luck.

Nice loose but not to big... oxford shirt, kaki casual pants... no flip flops or open toe sandals.
