1- they set up near something very attractive to their prey.
2-You get caught in their web.
3-Once caught ;you are mesmerized and they spin to capture their prey.
4-They suck the blood out of ya ,lol

Someone once said they can never truly understand women as they very bravely pour hot wax on their sensitive skin and yet can be very afraid of spiders!

Maybe it's the same reason why some males hate commitment / marriage.
If ya think about it for a moment:
1. A partner will keep you warmer in bed at night than a spider or a blow-up-doll
2. A partner is more than just filled with air.
3. A partner only has one set of eyes so less evil eye capability than a spider.
4. A partner will accompany you on dates and not get you arrested unlike a blow-up-doll (okay so this one is debatable depending on your choice of partner).

I have a spider phobia I have bought pest magic plugs the spiders are huge in my house over summertime, I left the house one weekend because I got up during thr night to use the bathroom, I saw something that looked like a mouse on the landing, and of course some mouse it was a spider went mental, cannot explain it even thought of moving house!

no, i love spiders.
they are nature's insecticide.
I have one that lives in my car's exterior mirror and every morning there is a lovely web stretching from mirror to the bottom of the car door. (Of course it gets completely destroyed as i drive around all day, but evidently the night's catch is quite good, because it stays!)

You are funny! to compare us to spiders, LOL! Maybe we can compare guys to dogs. They lay around and eat all day, fart, and chase the women dogs, heehee. Thanks, I like your question, made me laugh :) By the way I like spiders, they get rid of bugs and I love dogs.
