Well, it's a close fight for captaincy between Terry and Gerrard. It's a tough decision for the manager. But at least it was either of these 2, if it's anyone else there's seriously something wrong. o.O

I think Gerrard would be better anyway. He showed in the WC that he was the best player for England. He has personality and he is already the captain of Liverpool, which he lead to the winning of the Champions League (against AC Milan unfortunately!) And I thought McLaren would choose a younger captain, because he wanted to change sth in the team.

YEP> HE is the captain of Chelsea FC remember. He was also the vice captain when beckham was still captain.

England would regrettt removing BECKHAM when they will fall short of a winger !!!
