Maybe someone can help me with this, but when Conan takes over Jay Leno in 2009... will he move to L.A. where Jay films or will he stay in New York, I am praying he stays in NYC... anyone know?

He will most likely move to L.A. NBC executives have no plans to move the show, and O'Brien seems to be fine about it.
from a Conan article in Emmy magazine from spring 2005:
"While not quite official, O'Brien says he would likely move to California to host the show. 'By the time I take over the Tonight Show, I'll have been doing this for sixteen years,' he says. 'I might need a huge kick in the [censored] to reset, to recalibrate in some creative way to put the odometer back to zero, zero, zero. And doing a show in Los Angeles might feel like going to Mars -- but in a good way."

I don't know, but I hope he says in New York also.
