I'm not sure if I am pregnant, I started spotting yesterday afternoon, and this morning there is more and it is thicker, brownish looking. I am having some cramps, and my doctor can't see me until monday, they told me not to worry about it unless it gets very heavy, then to go the the ER. My period ususally comes around the 28th, anyone know if there is a normal amount of spotting if it occurs because of implantation?

For me, it was a litte more than pantiliners deal with, but not nearly enough for a regular tampon, if that makes sense. Mine lasted for three days. I actually thought I was having a really light period (I didn't know I was pregnant). There's no normal amount of blood with implantation bleeding, and it doesn't happen for every body or every pregnancy.

If you are concerned, or if the pain is great, then you don't have to wait - just go to the ER if you're concerned.

Some women spot between periods... i wouldnt worry about it (unless like they said -- it gets heavy)...or if you have no cervical problems in ur family history thats a bit less to worry about...

If their is pain... i suggest you go to the doctor soon
