Go to the Columbus Zoo: its one of the better ones in the country. There is also a Water Park across the street from it.
Visit Ohio State: coming during or even around a home football game is a completely different experience then coming on any other day or week. Visit the Wexner Center, hang out on the Oval
Go to COSI: They have a cool Star Wars exhibit going on now! Plus its educational
If it's the first Saturday of the month, go to the Gallery Hop in the Short North
Go the the North Market (it's a public farmers Market in town)
Take a tour of German Village: while there go to Schmidt's Sausage Haus and the Book Loft and see Shakespeare in the Park
The State Fair is currently running at the Fair Grounds
Go to the Arena District for a Beer and Food, it's one of the most recently developed areas of the city.
Go to a Cameron Mitchell restaurant (Be prepared to spend some money depending on which you pick)
Go Shopping: I hate doing it, but Columbus has tons of it, Easton (my pick), Polaris, Tuttle Crossing plus outlets galore within reasonable distance
And for all the people who said, "leave" or "fly to another city" or some such, Please try to have a more open mind. Columbus is one of the 20 biggest cities in the country, there is a reason people live here

Not much. Movies, malls, maybe catch a show. Stay out of the bad side of town...especially after dark.

i lived in columbus and theres a HUGE mall there go there. theres a pretty cool sports bar called gameworks which is actually pretty cheap

get shot. get robbed. get raped. get molested. get run over. watch maurice clarett get arrested every other month. it's great here! or just sit out on your front porch and hope a drive by doesn't happen. ( good chance it will, tho. ) or you could be number 40 this year and be killed.

you can check out the university there, i heard its pretty cool, and they have a neat radio station you can tune into on the way there..
