First you need to get your bachelor's in pre-med or science, then you need to get into the best medical school that you possibly can. Make sure that your grades are stellar, for there is lots of competition that profession. After you graduate from medical school, you will want to do your residency in orthopedics, and maybe get a fellowship with a group of orthopedic surgeon. After you pass the board exam in orthopedic surgery, then you will be qualified to practice. When you pick out a medical school, you might look into finding one that is associated with a hospital that has an extensive orthopedic surgery practice.
Hope this helps!
