if it was made out of wood they wouldnt last as long, it would mold- catch fire real easy and one termite and its history. Denim i can see the carpet burn holes in it now its also not sturdy enough, rubber - the tires are made of rubber and they have to be replaced every so often - people dont want to replace their cars that often either- scotch tape isnt feasable, aluminum- one car crash and its history and will crush just like a can, glass- yeah one car crash and the person inside dies from multiple glass injuries, velcro? might get stuck each time you enter the car and its not study, sponges.....yeah the car wouldnt go anywhere when it rained because it soaked up all the water and fluided the engine, and oysters? Are you nuts?

Aside from all of these other answers( accidnet, cost, durability) Most Cars are made out of plastic, fiberglass, and aluminum. Wood is Much Much heavier than all of these, so If you made cars out of wood it would draw more power from the engine.

as for the rest of your suggested materials
denim: not stable
rubber: too costly with oil prices
Leather: Less cows, less Hamburgers, Less McDonalds, More starving americans
Scotch Tape: Your feet would stick to the gas pedal, or brake, either way its bad.
Aluminum: parts of cars are made out of aluminum, its just not exactly safe in crashes
Glass: glass doesnt start to decompose for 1 million years (true) so cars made out of glass would mean more glass, and when you crashed it or wanted a new car, it would mean more glass in the dump and there's already enough crap in there.
Velcro: Unstable, and how would you lock it up?
Sponges: what are you gonna do when it rains? the car will double in weight
oysters: aside from MANY MANY other reasons not to use oysters, ill use this excuse, the last thing we need is the EPA whineing cause now we're killing off the oyster population.

coz woods rot...
denim looses it's quality when always wash,
rubber stinks cannot attract buyers for a car,
leather stinks also but it may endanger animals for their skin(animal skin),
scotch tape haha funny u dont want to sit on a scotc tape, aluminum..there is a car made out of aluminum.
glass cars can't be driven in a long trip coz it may break once the engine turns hot.
i dont know what is velcro.
sponges, you may be soaked in the rain when u have sponge car.haha oysters? it's yummy though..but i dont think you want your car to be eaten.

G'day the Weird Ones,

Thanks for the question,

There are several of those elements used in manufacturing cars already. The tyres are made of rubber and the windows are made of glass. Some luxury cars have wooden dashboards notably the Rolls Royce. Audi has made 150,000 aluminium cars.

As for the other materials, they are ruled out due to a mixture of cost and safety.

beau·ty

The quality that gives pleasure to the mind or senses and is associated with such properties as harmony of form or color, excellence of artistry, truthfulness, and originality.
One that is beautiful, especially a beautiful woman.
A quality or feature that is most effective, gratifying, or telling: The beauty of the venture is that we stand to lose nothing.
An outstanding or conspicuous example: “Hammett's gun went off. The shot was a beauty, just slightly behind the eyes” (Lillian Hellman).

EDIT: THERE ARE CARS MADE OF WOOD, AND MADE WITH WOOD.I AM AN ONE WHO
CAN MAKE A CAR OUT OF WOOD OR APPLY IT TO ANY CAR.

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/dAtN6
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

The framework should be strong enough not to fall apart from the stresses of motor operation, mass and force on the road, load weight, etc. However, theoretically, you could use all of the above to decorate or adorn the framework.

The only one I'll comment on it "rubber"; actually, not that bad of an idea when you think about it; if you were hit, you'd just bounce; Ha! You're a genius! Although when I read about "wood", it made me think of Howard Hughes and his "SPRUCE GOOSE".
