ive heard there will be a spike spin-off movie [tv]but the possiblity of it happening has gone down.
is there still a chance?

There were actually three movies being planned, one focussed on Spike (which was the most well-known), but also one about Faith and one about Willow.
But Whedon and the studio apparently couldn't come to financial terms, so as of two months ago the movies are no longer being planned. So the possibility hasn't just gone down - it has been eliminated.

Somehow, I doubt there will be a spin-off series. Maybe eventually a movie, but probably not sometime soon. Most of the buffy and Angel actors have gone on to other projects. Would be nice though to see them all back together again.
