ive been taking this pill for about 5 months now, and this month i have gotten my period twice this month is that normal?

sometimes women have what is called breakthrough bleeding on birth control, if it was a pretty good flow both times the Ortho Lo might not be strong enough for you! I would talk to whoever handles your birth control prescriptions :)

I was on ortho tri cyclen lo for three months recently. Every month I got my period twice, once starting at the end of the second week of pills, and once during the placebos. When I talked to my doctor about it, she said that it happens because the hormone dosage is too low. She then put me on Lo Ovral and that has helped.

Ive been on it for quite awhile, and, no I havent gotten it twice but everybody is different, just make sure you take it everyday almost the same time everyday. You may have missed one or just off set it a little, if it happens again, I would go to the doctor.

My cousin is on Orto Tri Cyclon Lo and she's had spotting the entire month she has been on it and her most recent period was much heavier than normal. I'm sure it's normal but if you're concerned, ask your doctor.
