I'm 14, I'm around 5'8-5'10. Haven't measured how tall I am in a while. But I weight around 170. I've been lifting weights to try and get myself in shape. Been running and putting on pounds also. I'm wonder what position on Defense/Offense would suit my weight and height.

Which ever one the coach puts you at. At this age I'm guessing you won't get to pick as much as get put somewhere.

Try defensive end. A good spot for you.
Most defenses at that level of the game will make the DE contain. That's your job - make sure the running back trying to get outside you stays inside you, so if you aren't going to make the tackle, someone else from mid-field can.
Containment is crucial, since a lot of running plays at that level of play are sweeps around the outside.
And on passing downs, the job of the DE is usually to blitz the QB and hit him HARD.
I loved playing DE. :)
Offensively, Tight End is a good start. While it is mostly a blocking position, you'll have the benefit of knowing how the DE will react (because you are one), and can sometimes catch a pass too.
Good luck.

On defense you'd be a good corner/safety. On offense halfback or wide receiver, but I think halfback depending on your ability, but from what you say about running and lifting, I wouldn't mind having you as a halfback.
