my friends say i must get my ducks in a row.
how can i best explain to them that i have free range ducks...?

what do they mean you MUST get ducks in a row? whys it their choice? nice one for havin free range duckys though thats wicked

We believe in organic farming and using the free range but it does have a fence for their own protection. this is wild country.
Using the fertilizer in the compose bin and growing them grains.
We keep a circle of life going. Some won't eat the meat they are strict vegetarians. But for the others we wait til the chicken has had a rich full life and then he becomes stew or chicken and dumplings. Keep a cow which supplies us all with milk, butter and cheese. She is well cared for and love by a multitude of girls.
No cow ever had a better life. It can work we can be self sustaining. We even have a spot for a horse. several goats and other animals that were thrown away.

Good for your for wanting to eat things that are good for your health! You don't have to explain anything to your friends, but if you want just tell them you have free range ducks. I hope this helps.
