I would be dead.
I consider my father as my hero. He's the one who helped me live.
Now, the reason why I said I would be dead is because not too long after my birth, Mt. Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines. It was the most violent volcano in history. One day, when the ashes were falling from the sky, my mom and dad and I were at the laundromat and my parents decided it was best to go home now. We went in the car and had to go up the hill to get home. While my dad had to drive, he had to wipe the windshield with his hands because the windshield wipers doesn't work on this heavy and smudgy ash. As soon as we went down hill, the car slipped down faster and faster. My dad try to hit the breaks but the ground was too slippery. And then another vehicle came, a bus and was driving towards us in a same fast speed. At that time, my dad knew we'd be dead because both cars will be running into each other at a great speed. But thank to what ever, we were lucky to have a dry spot and my dad hit the brakes and we barely hit the bus and survived.
So, that what I'd be doing right now if I weren't here.
