Little Diddy, Just want to say John Mellencamp maybe the most underrated rocker out there. As a young boy growing up in the heartland his music spoke to me like nobody elses. His music is the soundtrack of my life................R.O.C.K. IN THE U.S.A.

Anyone who could seriously suggest that Bruce Springsteen speaks for the heartland, is ignorant at worst: The man is a monster. So out of those two, Mellencamp wins. Is is possible that Mettalica is more relevant than either of them?

Springsteen is a ranting, left wing liberal zealot who spews his hatred of anything not Hillary Clinton Ted Kennedy Michael Moore Al Gore Hollywood Califorinia Diane Feinstein Al Frankin John Kerry.

Mellencamp on the other hand, I don't know his political affiliation. He doesn't talk about it publicly. He keeps his political agenda to himself (as we all should) and he keeps cranking out pertinent songs that ROCK!
