Just call the park and ask for the marketing dept. They can tell you the current specials they're running to save you some $$.
Also, when you get there, look around the pay booths for someone a little doe eyed. Often people buy tickets ahead of time and something happens and they can't use them. Often this can be a great win-win where you can buy a ticket someone's trying to get rid of.
Also, some people bring extra coupons that they don't use. By keeping your eyes peeled, you can usually be the beneficiary of someone looking to pay it forward!
(hehehe, can you tell I've been to a lot of parks. lol)
