I heard about this awhile ago and have been asking everybody I know. I've asked a couple priests and they just looked at me like I was weird. Anyway I know that the Unicorn is one of them. let me know your thoughts.

I'm not sure if I is a mythology & folklore or a religious question.

The Dragon, the Serpent (not the common snake but the dragon's near kin), the Behemoth, the Griffin, the Phoenix, the Gorgon (a race of witches with snakes for hair, Medusa being the best known), and the Cyclops (a race of giants with a single eye).

The Unicorn just kinda got left behind when it dawdled and missed the ride.

Seriously, the only creatures I heard of that were excluded were those that would survive the flood by their very nature: Fish and sea-dwellers, water fowl, amphibians and such.

I had fun with this question!

According to biblical accounts (Genesis chapter 7) There were '7' of every kind & their mates (male & female) of clean & unclean animals, including animals that creeped upon the ground (insects & the like).

Every kind was included, except for any animals that were in the sea. These animals could survive the flood, since they lived in the ocean & waters anyway.

However, there was no mention of 'forbidden' animals.

Unfortunely, not every animal on earth would survive, they couldn't all fit on Noah's Ark....

Refer to the book of Genesis, chapters 6-9 I believe it was two of every creature - there were no animals excluded. I believe that must be a folklore tale.

The account of Noah and the Ark is in Genesis 7 but there's no mention of God forbidding any animal to be taken into it. Even 'unclean' animals (according to Jewish standards) were taken aboard.

I don't know about not allowed, but he didn't take any water creatures (fish, whales, etc.) with him because they were doing fine outside the ark.

Dinosaurs must be one, they are no longer here! O and fish, well I guess there would be no need to put them on the ark. How did fresh water fish survive?

Gollums. That's why they all died out. Though in Deuteronomy one of the surviving ones does appear (I guess Gollums are good swimmers)
