We think both parties should be worried even if the Libertarian Party doesn't grow. There is a movement to vote out anyone who is up for re-election. New blood in politics and if those who are new do not work for the common man, vote them out next time, as well. Soon, a light bulb will go off on top of their head.

I hope not.....The only chance the Libertarian Party to take power is to let these two outdated self centered parties self destruct.

I find it interesting for me, as a moderate, to support the Libertarian Party more so then the GOP and DNC.

Yeah! I've said for years; Don't waste your vote, vote libertarian! The other two parties, and to some extent the independent party is just a two or three headed monster!

It's been 140+ years since we had a new party come to power. I believe it is long overdue.
Though I believe that the libertarians should mellow a little. For example, legalization of pot should be the first step, not the immediate legalization of all drugs.
Its hard for people to deal with drastic change and baby steps are necessary to ensure changes will be welcomed.

They all should worry. America is waking up to the reality that our politicians don't care if the middle class progress.

The middle class are really hurting themselves if they vote for the Libertarian Party unless your a republican.

worried ... no ? because usually Libertarians are pretty well split down the middle of the issue.. therefore when their candidate becomes a wasted vote they jump back to the main two, with which ever one most represents their mind set...
I think that the republican party on the whole may be in trouble because of the unpopularity of W and his policies.. which are so overly intrusive

i think of it they could have caught to the unique tea occasion platform of the Ron Paul supporters that began the finished ingredient in 2007: definite. even nevertheless, they provide the impact of being like morphing into this weird and wonderful mix of libertarian tinged RHETORIC and neoconservative ideology. protecting the police state (conflict on drugs, TSA screening etc.) and protecting the occupations of the middle east all whilst speaking approximately "constrained government" and "individual freedom". If that's what it maintains to be they won't do something. in the event that they start up attempting to push a social conservative time table, the backlash would be epic.
