In some ways, yes. His motivation to do this is to make money. There's a lot of money to be had in the environmentalism business.

I lived very Gore's home in Tn. The Zinc mine does exist and has been sited as a polluter many times and Gore has used his influence to keep them from being fined heavily. His SUV's run all around the area and take him everywhere, not 1 but 3 or 4 at a time.
The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of Earth’s 4 billion years. This all happened before any of the modern day came into being and will continue after we are gone.
The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.
These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This is 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class too.
This may just may be another smoke and mirrors propaganda campaign to cover our governments lies and con games. There are so many conspiracies running rampant it’s hard to tell which are real and which are just simple stupidity. The idea we can stop global warming IS stupidity at it’s highest form.
Al's hipocracy knows no bounds! His stupidity is running rampant all across America and this is to his eternal shame. I'm ashamed for him to represent Tn in such a disgraceful manner!

I don't know about him screwing everyone who want so protect the environment but he is using the issue as a means to accomplish his own agenda and that may be to position himself to make another bit for the presidency. He is not above lying and distorting the truth to convince people that certain things he is promoting get the support of people who don't look beyond what is presented in the media before deciding what is right or needed.

Sorry to be the one to disagree, but I think he finally pulled his head out of his political a$$ for a change and got it right for a change. Have to vote Yes on this one as the environment is screwed up and generations to come, sadly, will pay for the wanton greed of generations from the past.

Holy crap! A 10,000 square foot home? Well, if you have dollars you don't need sense.
I don't think Gore has screwed the environmentalist, he just talks about an extreme view. Most of the environmental movement is rather sensible, they just don't make for good news so you rarely hear about them.

I would say yes and no
he has harmed the environment himself with some of his own land deals, but at the same time he has been working the last few years to try and help the environment....so maybe he has changed some of his ideals?
But if you never supported him, then I would guess your answer is - yes ......

No, we do not believe he has screwed anything up. We support his efforts to educate the public about the truth and carbon dioxide. Stop driving your car, silly.
