my friend thinks she is not pretty b/c she has some zits and she thinks people that don't have them are pretty, But i told her that nobody likes them but people can still be pretty even if they have them.
do u think that is true ( that people that have zits are still pretty)

Yes, I do think that people with zits are still pretty. Its the zit thats ugly. They have many products out there now that can eliminate even the worse kind of acne problems.
I bought my daughter Pro Active and it really works on acne.
But having a zit and having acne is different. You can get a zit going through pubity or even eating too much chocolate. Having acne will distort your skin and make a person feel not pretty.
You should tell her this, "I think you are pretty thats all matter"

Yes of course its true = tell her that most people have skin problems - its very very uncommon to have perfect skin. Also tell her that zits, disappear, I know it seems hard now, but the older she gets they will disappear. Or lessen dramatically.
People with zits can be beautiful, but that will never come through if they dont feel pretty. And they will disappear!!!
If it getting her down loads, she should go to doc, they can perscribe v strong topical acne medication that will help clear zits up pretty fast, and perhaps boost her self confidence a little.

Yes, some people are prettier than those who don't have zits. Good e.g Kiera Knightly, she openly said that she has an acne problem. Also, people who get zits, have extra oil in their skin, so they won't wrinkle soon. Zits fade with time and age, nothing to worry about. It would help if she got her skin treated though.

It depends on how bad they have zits. Like right now I have one on my chin, I'm still pretty! If your face is so covered by pimples your skin is more red and bumpy than it is smooth and ... whatever color your skin is... then no you aren't pretty. If you have acne then that's not good, I'd have to be honest and say I would never say someone with acne is pretty. But just because you have a few pimples doesn't mean you're ugly, or uglier than people without pimples. I've seen some hideous people who have no pimples at all.

yeah.
but to be frank, if the zits are all over, it can be a disadvantage. It has alwayz been if you are talkin about 1st look.
However, "Beauty lies in the Eye of the Beholder"
If you think you are pretty no matter what, that will be a plus point. Coz personalities count double, triple folds.
Be someone with flawless skin but the suckiest attitude, dude, u are fugly.
Be someone with zits all over your face, and have the bubbliest attitude, you will be beautiful in no time.

Hmm. Nobody is perfect and everyone have their own flaws. She might not be perfect on her appearance, but she have her inner beauty.
There are different types of beauty, inner and outer beauty.
Outer beauty aka appearance are just for a moment. You wouldn't want to be with somebody with looks but heartless yea?
Tell her she need not lose her self-confidence just because of her looks, cause ladies have got great advantage, they can apply makeup to cover them up. Ask her to wash her face daily and appply some creams to fight the zits away! Hehe!

yeah people with zits can still be pretty, but theres a point where there is more spots than face and then its jsut like "here's some clearasil love"

aw, they're okay. That girl needs to wash her face and stop eating sugar and white bread.
But when I'm talking to someone, I don't care about the zits on their face, but how nice they are and the way they act.
If they're nice, you don't care about the acne. If they're braggy, bossy, and proud, the zits stand out like a sore thumb.
