if russian light arms are destroying mirkava, it means that russian arms will be for sale and in demand.
not only this tactics used by those fighters are going to be a lesson in war.
if israel has 4800 mirkava and if they can take 20 mirkava per day, this means that they need 240 days and they finish them all.
if i was in israel place, i would struck a deal in politics to move out of shebaa and put international troops in between. it will protect itself. now syria will learn the game , egypt will learn the game and they will not use anymore regular army.

American Abrams were knocked out in Iraq by cheap rocket propeled grenades (RPG's) as well. If man can build it, man can destroy it...

But yes, just throwing a lot of force against a guerilla group doesn't work. One would have thought the US army brass learned that lesson in Vietnam.
